should i give it up?

there's just too much to consider, and i see myself crumbling under the pressure.
back then we were so sheltered, all we had to do was to put our heart and mind into it.
well right now,
the heart tells you one thing, and the mind tells you the other.
when did all these become so complicated? are we being selfish? or are we not?
is it right to fight for something we want, and hurt people along the way?
should we compromise respect, responsibility or friendship, to obtain what we want?

so WHAT do we really, really WANT?
