ANYWAY, i was Telok Kabung, Orang asli (natives) settlement in Malaysia.
the entire village was built on stilts, houses on the right, open sea on the left.
it is accessible by road, & we were greeted by about two or three seafood restaurants.
all shops or restaurants must & can only be opened by the Orang Asli(s),
probably to prevent losing this paradise.
a wooden 'boardway' parallel to the shoreline leads one from the main road to the houses.
each house had a jetty, & they travelled by motorboats.
across the sea was Pulau Ubin, thats how close this village is to us.
its pretty hard to imagine how lifes can STILL be this simple, they dont wear shoes!
the ONLY painted kelong is green&yellow, i was told that it was a school for the kids.
i bothered to count & there were less than ten houses..
dontknow about you, but i truly find it amazing.

ZOO: it was OJA not OGA. -.-
i went alone & it was pretty tiring.
however zoo being the zoo, with friendly people&all, i didnt feel too bad.
i saw three pairs of twins & a lot of very adorable kids :]
